The Woven Series
Created for our Sisters Behind the Walls
Woven exists in honor of a woman named Lisa—my friend, my mirror, my reminder that even the most forgotten stories can bloom again.

Lisa showed me what it meant to sit in truth, to hold pain with open hands, and to walk toward healing one fragile step at a time.
This series carries her fingerprints. Not in biography, but in spirit.
Her tenderness.
Her grit.
Her faith in small beginnings.
Woven is my way of making sure women like Lisa are never unseen again.
Created by Toby Dorr and the Fierce Grace Movement, Woven grew out of years of listening to women whose stories were silenced.
Out of Lisa’s quiet strength came the vision for a series that speaks to every woman inside.
The Four Threads

12 Week Transformation Workbook
A 12-week healing journey for women stepping out of survival and back into themselves. Woven in Light offers gentle reflection, guided exercises, and soul-deep questions that help you rediscover truth, resilience, and the quiet strength that was always yours.

Guided Journal for Emotional Healing
A scripture-anchored guided journal for women seeking spiritual restoration and inner steadiness. Woven in Faith blends uplifting verses, reflection prompts, and tender writing space to help you reconnect with God and rediscover the sacredness of your own becoming.

Poetry and Reflection Workbook
A space where poems and prompts meet. Woven in Hope invites women to sit with small pieces of language—lines, images, fragments—and turn them into their own prayers, memories, and declarations of strength.

A Lifebook (One Year Weekly Companion)
A one-year lifebook for rebuilding your future one brave week at a time. Woven in Courage offers weekly prompts, intentions, and reflection space to help you navigate growth, identity, and the sacred work of beginning again.
Each thread offers a different way to heal, rebuild, become.
How Woven Supports Women Behind Bars
Trauma-informed prompts that honor shame, loss, and survival without re-traumatizing.
Gentle structure that works whether a woman writes daily or once a week.
Language of grace, not judgment, rooted in dignity and second chances.
Designed for groups or solo use—book clubs, chaplain programs, reentry classes, or one woman in her bunk with a pen.
How Facilities and Programs Use Woven
Chaplains, reentry coordinators, program directors, and volunteers use Woven as a flexible companion to existing classes or as a stand-alone program. Books can be used one at a time, as a complete bundle, or woven into other curriculum.

- One-on-one mentoring
- Self-paced journaling with optional check-ins
- Pre-release or reentry preparation groups
Don’t Take Our Word For It….
I just wanted to give you an update on the class. The ladies are doing really well and love the class. My assistant tells me that there is lot of support for each other, emotions and tears. They will be starting chapter six next week. I will keep you updated and would still love for you to come and tell the ladies your story.
Thank you!
I hope this finds you well. The class was a huge success! I have been spreading the word to other facilities. I will be ordering more books as soon as the budget money is released.
