Books have always been my refuge. In fact, as the oldest of seven children, they were the only place I could be by myself—even in a room full of chaos.
My sons used to warn people, “Don’t talk to Mom when she’s reading. She won’t hear you.” They were right.
Even now, I carry a book everywhere I go. Whether I ‘m in a traffic jam, waiting for a table, or standing in line at the grocery store – books are are always with me. This isn’t just my work—it’s my dream come to life.
