About the Fierce Grace Movement

The Meaning Behind the Name

The name Fierce Grace embodies a powerful duality. Courage and compassion. Resilience and redemption. Strength and softness.

Together, Fierce Grace is a way of living. A call to transform our stories into ripples of change that restore, empower, and inspire.

Fierce speaks to the courage it takes to face life’s challenges head-on, to rise from struggle, and to stand unshaken in the pursuit of truth and purpose.

Grace reflects the love and forgiveness that allow healing to begin, reminding us that no one is beyond redemption.

The Spark that Became a Movement

The Fierce Grace Movement was born not from noise, but from ache.

In 2006, Toby Dorr found herself on the floor of a prison cell, stripped of freedom, family, and identity. In that dark silence, she encountered a light that called her to rise and to use her story to change the lives of women.

What began as one woman’s transformation has grown into a collective ripple: a sanctuary for truth, a community of resilience, and a movement where women are empowered to reclaim their worth and rewrite their narratives.

Out of this journey of redemption, The Fierce Grace Movement was born.

Our Vision: A World Redeemed by Fierce Grace

The Way of Fierce Grace

We are the keepers of everything.
Families, careers, dreams, the daily stitching of the world — we hold it all.
But holding everything has made us forget the shape of our own hands.

We choose awakening before collapse.
We no longer wait for loss, divorce, layoffs, or empty nests to tell us who we are.
We listen to the whisper before life has to shout.

We trade perfection for presence.
Grace is not quiet obedience; it is strength wrapped in softness, truth spoken with tenderness.

We shed the stories that were never ours.
Titles, roles, childhood labels, expectations — we release what was placed upon us so we can remember what was planted within us.

We rise in sisterhood.
Transformation doesn’t happen in isolation.
When one woman finds her voice, she becomes a mirror for another.

We lead with ripples, not rules.
Our power is relational, not positional.
We change the world one honest conversation, one act of courage, one moment of grace at a time.

We live as the women we were meant to become.
Whole. Unhidden. Unshamed.
Fierce enough to stand tall, graceful enough to stay open.
